What Must I Do to Be Saved?

Hear the Gospel

I must HEAR the GOSPEL, the good news that Jesus died for my sins and that His blood cleanses me of sin.

Believe

I must BELIEVE that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Savior of mankind, and that He appeared as God in the flesh to die for me.

Repent

I must REPENT of my sins and turn away from them and turn to God.

Luke 24:46-47; Acts 2:38, 17:30

Confess

I must CONFESS that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and the Savior of the world.

Be Buried with Christ

I must be BAPTIZED, or immersed in water so as to be united with Christ where His blood will wash away my sins, allowing me to rise from the water as a child of God.

Keep the Faith

I must then FAITHFULLY follow the word of God and Christ Jesus for the rest of my life.
